CAMAC named Second Largest African-American Owned Co. in US

During the Annual Entrepreneurs Conference & Expo, Black Enterprise announced that CAMAC International Corporation is the second largest African-American owned company in the United States, as ranked in the magazine’s 2008 BE100s report. CAMAC had revenues of $2.43 billion in 2008. The BE100s List is an annual survey of the contributions of African-African businesses sector wide.

CAMAC first debuted on the list in 2002 as the largest company in the United States. This is the sixth consecutive year that CAMAC has placed in the number two position on the list. Since its inception, Black Enterprise has always offered timely, thoughtful and a thorough analysis of the triumphs and challenges facing African-American owned businesses and their contributions to the economy.
