Mr. Manson directs all oil and
gas operations in Nigeria and Colombia and evaluates new oil and
gas producing opportunities for company participation. As Managing
Director of an Irish public company in which Camac had a majority
interest, he led the turnaround of this company, with oil interests
in the North Sea and West Africa, from a virtual shell company
to one of profitable status with a plan for significant future
growth. Mr. Manson has forty-five years of oil field experience
during which he has been involved in hundreds of wells responsible
for exploration, drilling, production, facility design and installation,
economic evaluation and budgeting. His scope of experience extends
from field level to top management. He has worked extensively
in the U. S. Gulf Coast region both onshore and offshore and,
for the last ten years, in the prolific oil producing area of
West Africa. Mr. Manson also participated in the start up and
IPO of a small independent U. S. oil company and, for a period
of ten years, directed the operations that found and developed
seventeen offshore oil and gas fields in the Gulf of Mexico. He
then assisted in the sale of that company at the height of its
revenue producing potential at a significant profit to the shareholders.
Throughout his career he has directed operations, which have resulted
in significant corporate growth and has successfully weathered
economic downturns. He is a graduate of Ohio State University
with a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering.
